Chen Tianzhuo  陈天灼

Using his signature psychedelic visuals and surreal event-based practice, Chen’s first solo show with BANK profiles his project in collaboration with dancer Beio and consists of live performances, two large-scale video projects, photographs and installations. All of these works are part of a larger, future Opera project that Chen plans to tour next year.

Chen Tianzhuo (b.1985) ‘s dynamic work straddles many disciplines. His Tianzhuo’s Acid Club at Star Gallery last year was art as much as it was a rave; he has collaborated with Xiamen fashion label Sankuanz on shows around the world, Beijing post-punk musicians Snapline, and his work has donned the cover of this year’s LEAP’s special Art Basel HK edition. His work has exhibited at Shanghai MoCA, Star Gallery, etc.

陈天灼在BANK的首次个展将展出艺术家与舞蹈艺术家北鸥的合作项目，由现场表演、两件大尺幅的影像放映组成，届时艺术家将BANK化为迷幻视觉效应与超现实的体验场。现场展示的作品都来自艺术家将于明年发布的长篇歌剧史诗ADAHA。

陈天灼（b.1985）活力四射的作品跨界于多个领域。他去年在星空间的个展《天灼酸俱乐部》本身就是一个艺术狂欢派对。艺术家曾与厦门时装品牌上官喆，北京后朋克音乐人兵马司等合作，最近为《艺术界》杂志制作了艺术巴塞尔香港特刊《亚洲男孩》。陈天灼的作品曾在上海当代艺术馆，星空间等展出。
